Reliable electric heating blanket?

thatsright

Diamond Member
Here in the northeast and fall is upon us. Anyone know of a reliable heating blanket? Every one I have ever had only lasts a few months before breaking or failing. On amazon, it seems like only sunbeam or Biddeford make them. Horrible reviews all around.

As with many companies, if they make crap products, people will have to buy again and they make more $$.

I watched a show on 60 Minutes once about those catching on fire. I guess reliability is subjective, it depends how hot you need it to be. 😛

If you're of the mindset that everything is crap these days and built to fail, go to some estate sale and pick up a 40 year old electric blanket. Just make sure your fire insurance is all paid up.
