Man, what's with all of the compact econoboxes? For $5,000, she could get a nice mid-size car like a 1997 Ford Taurus or a 1996 Chevy Lumina.

Heck, she could even get something even larger if she wanted to, like a 1996 Ford Crown Vic.

Thanks, I want it *gone* so I can buy a car that's even more killer :)

Put new carpet in it, fix or replace the driver's seat, you pay shipping, and I'll take it :)

She likes small cars.

Get a prizm. After 1998, the nameplate became Chevy so you can dodge the Geo stigma. They're worth sh*t for resale, but that works in your favor since it's just a corolla with a different badge.

94-96 Nissan Altima©©©© Consumer Reports BEST BUY

They are easily found on autotrader between 3 and 5K© These are really reliable cars, but are way undervalued because Nissan had a band name until recently ¥or at least a worse name than Toyota and Honda¤© Consumer Reports Used car guided named it a best buy, so I guess It's pretty decent eh©

Good luck finding a new seat for it :) It's in good shape, just has the small tears. The carpet isn't dirty, just looks like it from the pics :) If you ever want another 13 second car, this is a sleeper way of getting there (much like your car already I guess heh).

Ugh....but tauruses are sooooooooo FUGLY! :disgust:

The newer "pod" Tauru's are fugly but some of the 90's SHO's were awesome.

With such a small list of requirements, a Saturn SL2 is a good bet. Cheap to buy, cheap to fix, cheap to insure, long lasting, no major reliability issues. They're not great cars, but they're far from bad.

Of course, the Altima is a good one too. Roomier, quieter, and more powerful than a Saturn, still not as cheap to buy, and not as cheap to insure or maintain.
