Reliability of 120GB Seagate rebate from BB

Hey all,

I wanted to pick a few of those 120GB Seagate drives from BB. But I remember that recently Seagate's rebates have been crappy. Does anyone know if they have improved?

I have found Seagate's drives to be very reliable (SATA ones at least). Maxtor's, on the other hand, have stunk for me.

nevermind: I see that you were asking about the rebates, not the drives.

He's referring to the rebates on them, not the drives themselves.

I picked up one of the Seagate 120GB drives last month and received the Best Buy rebate in about 2 weeks and the Seagate rebate in 3 weeks.

I haven't had any problems with Seagate rebates. But the last one I did was about a year ago.
