So for about the last 12 hours or so there has been a huge amount of ranting from the right about a FISA Memo which they describe as worse than Watergate on the level of corruption.

Rep Matt Gaetz has issued a statement on this as well.

“The House must immediately make public the memo prepared by the Intelligence Committee regarding the FBI and the Department of Justice. The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy,” Rep. Gaetz said.

I bet it reveals little or nothing of interest other than standard government operating procedures. I then imagine conservatives will go ballistic anyway and decide they are (yet again) the victims of a conspiracy despite no evidence supporting that idea.

As evidence of this, just look at basically everything else that happened over the last eight years. Plenty of people on this board are still convinced that conservatives were the victims of an Obama weaponized IRS, for example.

Well I would say that my description of what has been public about the conduct of Republican Congresspeople in regards to these investigations rates as extremely and unethically partisan.

It is kind of interesting that they are very concerned about this nebulous memo due to it being 'worse than Watergate' but seem almost totally uninterested in the President's possible obstruction of justice in impeding an investigation into criminal activity by his subordinates. (exactly Watergate)

maybe the adminstration was leveraging its intelligence apparatus to spy on members of the opposing party, and passing along that info to their own party officials and media.

They just want a defection from the Russia investigation. Tell you what boyz, you so keen on this release it after the entire Russia/Trump investigation is completed.

They want to release them because they believe they can use them to disrupt the news cycle.
It's teach the controversy tactics.
My guess is that the it will follow the normal flow.
FoxNews watchers will wait for the normal editorial\commentary BS to generate the talking points (Did X show that Y = Monkey? The fact that the question exists must mean that x is a monkey. ) and then conservative nuts will bust for about 48hrs. Normal people will read the memo and say "nope". 2 weeks after that, they will show up in grandpas facebook feed.

Memo: FBI agents, some that worked for the FBI while Obama was president, believe Trump to be a moron and asked to investigate some of his shady dealings. We have evidence that an FBI agent also donated to a democrat
Foxnews: This is a clear pattern of anti-Trump behavior and therefore Mueller must be shutdown. The Justice department must be revamped to protect our most vulnerable community. White Christians just looking to use their guns to protect Jesus from Mexican drug lords be cared for by Haitian nannies.

Since Hilarity is a typo away from Hillary, Benghazi emails say Russians wearing Chinese made urban style thug clothes paid for Chelsea's wedding or something.

"Rife with factual inaccuracies and referencing highly classified materials that most Republican Intelligence Committee members were forced to acknowledge they had never read, this is meant only to give Republican House members a distorted view of the FBI," Schiff said. "This may help carry White House water, but it is a deep disservice to our law enforcement professionals."
