That's awesome because whenever we have a relay for life in my hometown I donate my dj equipment and music to the cause (of course I run it)

That way we have live entertainment and whatnot all through the night...

That's really great of you. I've got some speakers, but they're not exactly DJ equipment. I think I'd be scared to try to get decent volumes in the room we're going to have outs in (indoor track)... plus I don't have a car hehe.
I have my equipment that I use...

4 yamaha speakers and 2 crown amps that I use on an outdoor track...

We've got another one coming up next september (I've been doing it since it started, which is 2 years... this year will be my third)

Awesome.

I kind of cringe when I see DJ equipment though. When I worked as a banquet waiter the DJs used to put their speakers right next to the doors to the kitchen so my ears would be 6 inches away from them whenever I had to go in and out of the kitchen area with dirtly plates etc.

Carrying plates in the dark with strobe lights is also not fun ;)

Walking isn't good enough... if I'm going to donate money to cancer research I want you to do something REALLY inconvenient and strenuous. How about running from where ever you are in Wisconson to where I am in Michigan to bring me a beer, and I'll donate $20.

lol, was the non-capitalization of "d" on purpose? :p

I am starting to get tired though. May crash in a little while. I recommend you do B and then C. ;)

No, I'm sorry about the lower case d.

A. sounds pretty tempting for now. That way I can be well rested for my physics and neffing later. I think I can manage to wait to put together my A64 until tomorrow and deal with my backup rig for one more day :p.

EDIT: wtf, I checked at like 11:00

Mar 30, 2005 10:44 am

Delivered

EDIT2:
All the parts are working so far.... now.... to install XP on the 10 gig hard drive in the backup computer again so I can burn about 100 DVDs to empty out my 5 real hard drives.... too bad the DVDs aren't here yet :p

Bump because I got an e-mail telling me I was at 50% of my goal.

In reality I'm closer than that considering the $20 that's coming to me from the team page + $40 of non-online donations.

So, I have $125 out of $150 = 83% there :D

Thanks to everybody who has donated so far.
