Funny, I was checking out stomped.com and saw this:

<< Sandler said he didn't know of any specific cases of drivers getting into trouble after drinking kava. But he said it's hard to measure the kava problem because police don't test for the tea when pulling over drivers. >>

LOL...that's something new, an awa roadblock!

I took my friend from Sacramento to this bar and he got his ass laid out from a few clases of awa...LOL. Awa (aka kava) was all over our campus (UH), especially at the dorm parties. Anyone who took Hawaiian studies knew what awa was.

That's pretty f*cked up! Is that the place on Kapahulu? Tried it and tastes pretty sh*tty. Makes me feel like I just took a lot of Comtrex or some other cold medicine.

Yeah, if the person who?s preparing it doesn?t know what he or she is doing it can taste pretty sh*tty, like saw dust IMO.

<< You mean there's kava that doesn't taste like poopy dirt? >>

LMAO!!!

Actually yes, though I have tasted some that was down right nasty. But after a few cups of the stuff does it really matter what it taste like, your taste buds are pretty numb that helps reduce the harsh taste for some. Hale Noa brews up good stuff, a lot better then some of the other kava I?ve tried.
