nah, don't burn any bridges
Maybe it was a test. "Gentlemen, we shall mail out rejection letters to all the candidates. Whoever finds our single cleverly hidden error will be the attention-to-detail man for our organization!"

Don't feel bad, I didn't get a job with them out of college as a GIS Analyst. They hired a guy with 4 years experience

It was actually an IT position with Godiva. I didn't know that they own them.

And now they have owned you. The circle is complete.

Wait you got owned by godiva that is bad you must not know all there chocolate protocols on the web.

Just be happy you got any letter at all. Most companies won't even let you know.

I applied at a business one time, and got somebody else's rejection letter in the mail addressed to me (wrong letter in my envelope). Turns out I knew the girl the letter should have went to, I called her. She got my rejection letter in her envelope. We both LOL'd.

They could have at least sent a box of chocolates to help you deal with the rejection. :)

Bingo. It's not that harsh a letter, they could have said you are completely unsuited. :)
