Reinstalling Windows

I would hope it's not a violation of MS's agreement to format and reinstall Windows XP... but, how does one deal with it? A clean reinstall, that is, not a repair. Since you've already registered once with your serial number, how do you deal with the "ZOMG REGISTER OR WE RAPE YOU popups?

And yes, it's a completely legit copy.
 
Wrong forum. And it will let you re activate it. Worst case - You call ms. Told them you formated, they give you a key to type in and you are good to go.
