Reinstalling Windows 7 - AHCi

I think it will be necessary to reinstall Windows 7 on my SSD since it appears that it was installed without AHCI drivers. I was positive I set the BIOS to AHCI before doing loading Win7, but it says IDE and the system will not boot with BIOS set to AHCI, even with a registry edit.

So, now to reinstall Win7. What is the process for doing this on a drive that already has Win7 on it, and how can I do this to make sure I capture the AHCI drivers (which I apparently missed last time)?

Thank you.
