hello,

i installed win XP but had problems with my video card, now it just freezes as soon as i boot to desktop. thing is, i already "activated" my copy of win Xp

question: can i reinstall Win XP (start over)?

for some reason, i thought with XP and this "activation" thing, they were tougher on this sort of thing.

thanks

As long as you dont change your hardware configuration you can activate as often as you need.

Actually, you can change some of your hardware, but if you do too much at once, it will force the activation. For example, if you swap out video cards to debug this (or upgrade) you won't need to reactivate.
