After being WoW sober for 2 months now I've been itchin' for some blizzard crack... so I was reading up on the new 1.11 patch and then it snowballed from there... 🙁

Reinstalled D2 last night and started an assassin. It was meant to be though because the 5th chest I popped I got a rare katar and a rare buckler. 😀
 
hahaha...i hate rare items...but i guess they are ok at lvl 1-10...whatever you are. after that..yeah...i dont even bother picking most rares up...unless it's a ring with mf on it..HEH. what's new with this 1.11 patch?..i quit d2 (for the 3rd time) about 3 months ago so i havent even heard about it
 
Ok so yellow is rare right? Gold is what? Blue just magical, green is a set item, what else is there?

Gold is unique.. that's it. It wasn't the fact that they were rare it was the fact that they were out of a chest AND that it was a katar and a buckler. exactly what assassins start with 😛
 
Haha, I remember my 7 level 99's back in the good old days of 1.09. I loved my Hybrid Zon and MF Sorc the most. I just quit WoW, is it still easy to rush and get from level 1 to 99 in the hell cow level?

They nerfed the cow level IIRC. I don't know where they level now a days...
My Bovazon was awesome (pierce arrow + ballista + lighting fury/unique javalins). 🙂
 
I made sure I would stay away from that game for a while. I gave both my accounts to a couple friends to divy up the loot and use it as they saw fit. They actually both tried to give me some of my stuff back last night so I could help kill all the Uber bosses with them. No way am I letting that game suck more time out of me this season. Maybe if they start a new ladder season I'll start up again, but all this new content with the keys and body parts seems corny.
 
Anyone got some free amazon gear? I need a titans and a good bow, just started up on sunday, had uber loot before, havent played in 2 years. Let me know!

Damn. If they ever bump up to 1024x768, I'll play again. But I just can't do it at 800x600...

Man, i might have to play it on my GLIDE rig in the other room, celeron 800mhz and a voodoo5 5500 with an aureal vortex2!
 
I hear people talking about D2 all the time, I don't recall if I ever played it. Is it online as well as solo play?

Single player (very long) and a multiplayer. I never played the multiplayer because when it was popular, i was on dialup and i heard that the hacks were horrible.
