I have winME on the c:\ drive and win2k on the E:\ drive.
Their now dual booting nice.
WinMe crashes more often than win98se so I want win98 back on my c:\ drive.
Can I just format c:\?
Or is there another way?
I don't want to reinstall win2k again because it's has too many programs already installed and it would take me 1 or 2 days and I don't have that time

mmmm i would say format your ME drive and then install win98 and then install win2k over itself. there may be other ways, but you have to be microsoft to figure them out. just suck in your gut and grunt out the 3 and a half hours this is probably gonna take, and next time don't screw with that ME crap!
good luck!

Just delete the whole C:\Windows directory and install Win98.This way even some of your programmes may work on the new installation.
