REI Teva flipflops $9.23 + s/h today (4/22) only

Just a question, not trying to thread crap, but they look like ordinary flip flops to me. What's so special about them?

I'm wondering this as well.

I think they're just a nice looking pair of what appears to be above-average quality flip flops? But then again the price isn't particularly impressive to me. Maybe someone else knows better?

I mean, I guess I would buy them if I needed a pair of flip flops and I saw these at REI in person, but I don't feel a burning desire to go and buy them. Heck, I just bought the cheapest pair on clearance at American Eagle just so I could replace my leaky flip flops for shower use.

i live in southern california so i don't really have a pair of shoes. i just wear my flip flops. i have to say that these tevas are the bomb. far better than reef, nike, adidas, etc. they are super light and they don't tend to stank. reef makes some good sandals but they stink fast.

I have a pair of Teva flip-flops used very heavily (pretty much daily for 5 months or so of the year) from the fall of 2001 to the present. They are very comfy, and wear very well (my soles are getting smooth from the use, but the sandles are still going strong as a whole). Teva also guarantees that the straps will not disconnect from the bottom. And I can attest to the strength of the straps, as mine should have come loose long ago. Ordinary flip flops these are not!

Price is up to 14.93 plus shipping. Tevas rock I must say, I bought a pair probably 3 years ago and they still are as good as when I bought them!
