Go for it...was just trying to put things into perspective....occasional harmless kooks vs. organized and extremely violent groups.

The big bear that's growling at you from afar is not more dangerous than the small bear that's close enough to chew on your leg.

Christian kooks (who are far from "harmless") are a lot closer to home than organized violent Islamic groups.

Then you have little to worry about...no? Unless, of course, you actually think Barton is somehow a real threat to you.

New York says no. About 3,000 fewer New Yorkers say no, but enough to get the point across. Put together all the Christian-motivated murders over the two-plus centuries of this country's existence and you wouldn't reach 3,000. Doc Savage Fan nails it, there is no comparison between occasional small groups or lone nuts who kill for Christianity, and large, well organized, well funded groups within Islam.

Radical Christianity isn't a small bear, it's a 'possum that would rather sull up and only very occasionally bites. Radical Islam isn't a large bear, it's a herd of large bears. With rabies. And bombs.

Small Christian groups have power and influence in this country; more power and influence than any violent Islamic group.. and that power, while not necessarily deadly, is a threat to freedom.

David Barton is not some lone kook in the middle of Bumfvck-Nowhere: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Barton_(author)
