My system has been going throught some regular crashes. This started after i uninstalled Nvidia's network manager and installed Zone Alarm, the computer will be running fine and then i notice the internet going unusually slow and the the blue screen pops up and dissappears before i get a chance to see it and after it reboots it says windows has recovered from a serious error blah blah blah would you like to send error report. in the error report it talks about:
C:\Docume~1\Robert\LOCALS~1\TempWER9f21.dir00\mini013007-02.dmp
C:\Docume~1\Robert\LOCALS~1\TempWER9f21.dir00\sysdata.xml

being the source of the problem. Am I under attack from a worm or trojen? any help would be great.

Hi linkmaster6,

Lets try to find a resolution for your problem.
Firstly, go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Start Up & Recovery -> Settings
And untick the Automatically Restart under System Failure and press ok.

Now next time your computer brings up a Blue Screen it won't restart.
Take a note of the error screen text and post it here :)

its nothing important, just a pretty generic blue screen, doesn't say anything specific to the problem

Sorry for the delay it took awhile to get it again, i think its something to do with my firewall. I had it turned off and it took alot longer to get it again, I have Zone Alarm.
Any way the blue screen is telling me:

Caused by SreScan.sys
Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

This machine is a new rig I built at Christmas, could it possible be something that got messed up during the install?

That's why I hate all those software firewall utilities, like Zone alarm,Norton, etc... get yourself a router for $40 that will serve you much better in terms of firewall and you won't get all those annoying popups/firewall issues and it won't put a lot of garbage onto your OS.
