I was curious what the correct way to clean your registry is? Is there a program that can just scan and clean/defrag things? Ive never worried about this and I was pondering today of how messy it is.
 
There is absolutely no need to clean your registry. Yes you can "clean" it with programs like CCleaner, but go in and check it out after it has "cleaned" it and you'll see how much useless crap still remains. Plus sometimes it can invite problems. If everything's working fine who cares how many unused paths and keys are lying around?
