Anybody interested in getting some long term regional deal threads going?

For example there is a Kenwood Outlet store on each end of Orange county in So Cal, and sometimes I see good deals, ie 402 DVD player with component outs refurb 90 day but $129.

If a thread in this forum isn't a good idea, whatabout a SoCal (or other region specific) web page?

Hmmm......

Sort of a Anand "East, and Anand "West"?
Maybe.

All I know is that I want ALL deals posted. Even if it is not in my area. I have had too many deals come to me, from other members willing to make the purchase and ship to me. I do the same whenever asked. Thanks for the post.

There are two Kenwood outlet stores near Orange county;

14134 E. Firestone Blvd, Santa Fe Springs (562) 921-3431 (the frontage road S of the 5 btw Valley View and Carmenita).

28052 Camino Capistrano, Laguna Niguel (949) 347-1250 (exit 5 at Avery Parkway).

Current deals are (ends 3/7, but most likely starts again)
Kenwood 3100 DTS receiver, msrp $1750, $599.95 with any equip or speaker purchase.
Kenwood Stage 3 THX separates, preamp and matching 6 channel amp, msrp $4000, $999.95 the catch is this is a brand new top of the line unit, but 3 years old, ie its AC3 and Dolby Pro, but NOT DTS. RF two way touch screen remote, and looks like $4k, just no DTS. Amp by itself is $699, 6x130 watts.
402 DVD player, 90 day refurb is $129
Home Theater in a box, something 503, is $329.97, VR407 (?) receiver, powered sub, 5 spkrs.

When the deals are good they are often great, other times not so good. They also often have excellent Kenwood car audio items, but I don't follow whats that good in car audio. Closed Mon/Tues. All their ads use 3 big weasel words, Close out, limited to stock on hand, and/or clearance so lots of luck if you try to price match.
