Region free?

I have a 6x Slot load Pioneer DVD drive. How would I go about checking to see if it's region free? I tried a program called Drive Region Info V1.1. And it said I'm running NT and some WMASPI.DLL was missing.

Anyhow, thanks ahead of time.
