Regclean Freezing in 2k

Just reinstalled Windows 2000 and when I try and run Regclean it gets to Loading Type Libriary Identifiers it hangs. It's been running for 11:31 at that same spot. This is a fresh install of 2000 with Service Pack 3. Before I reinstall I was running an install with service pack 2 that was upgraded to 3. Anyone have any ideas why it's hanging? Also, anyone know where the 2000 compatibility update went?

Although I can't answer your question why "regclean" is hanging on your machine, I can point you to another utility that looks quite promising: AA Tools - Registry Cleaner

I should also mention that the downloaded version works - even though it's an unregistered version. So far, I like what I see in the product and this company might get my $19.99 for their great software.
