Regarding Single vs Dual Band for WIRED CONNECTIONS

So I'm looking to buy a new N router, and I was wondering if I should go with single or dual band.

the single-band I'm looking at is this one and the dual-band I'm looking at is this one.

-I'm a heavy gamer, heavy streamer, and transfer things about my network constantly.
-I KNOW that dual band would be better for the above that I do...

HOWEVER, my PCs and gaming consoles are all going to be hard wired via ethernet, so my question is:

SINCE I'm gonna be hard-wired, would it make sense for me to go with the more expensive dual band or would a single band router be just as good (considering my main devices will be wired to the router via ethernet)?

I would only use the wifi for my cell phone occasionally, and if someone came over with their laptop but not heavy downloading over wireless.

Please give detail in your response if possible. I want to make sure I understand this right. Thank you!

Haha nice, I got a lot of amazon credit I wanna use though! So overall, in general, if I'm going with a wired ethernet setup, single vs dual band doesn't really matter right?

Dual band would not help you much in this case. Consider a router with a gigabit switch as well as a gigabit WAN (assuming you have or will have super fast service from your ISP)
