I posted a thread 5 minutes ago on Opera entitled, "Regarding Censorship". When I try to access it, it gives me an error

ERROR: Sorry, we were unable to locate the object requested.
Error Code: 102

The thread doesn't show up on Internet explorer, but shows up on Opera (No clue at all).
After hitting refresh on Opera, the thread disappears completely.

Time to retype the entire thread.

I understand that AnandTech has a system of Censorship on their forums - I'm perfectly fine with that. The problem arises when you type in a swear, and a box pops up saying "You have a censored word(s) in your text". Unfortunately, the contents of the message gets deleted, and I have to retype the entire message again.

I realize that the best solution to this is to stop swearing, but this problem arises when a thread contains words such as "Assess" or something similar. I have seen this on many threads, and users upload a text document hosted on another server instead.

My proposed solution to this is to censor out the word by use of asterisks as opposed to displaying a message. This way, the entire post does not get deleted.

Thanks,

Extremely sorry about that. I didn't know it was moved - no wonder I was getting an error. In response to your message, It happens even when you don't swear.

I don't think the mods can fix it. It'll have to have the code rewritten.
