I'm having a problem with a reg file, it should work, but it keeps giving me this error: "This Program does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel". I've tried editing it a bunch but for some reason it's not working, it should be though, other people i know have had the same exact thing work.

Not quite sure what you mean by that, but i've used regedit a lot trying to get this working, but it's not working for some reason.

Well, no matter what reg file i use, it'll give me that error message. Even though everything looks right in regedit, it should be working, i can't figure out the problem. Reinstalling windows would probably help, but i don't want to do that :x

Does this look right?: http://adaman.homestead.com/files/reg.gif

The following:
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\software.exe]
"Path"="C:\\Software"

The file is there, but it doesn't want to work. So my reg files are all screwed up like that. I can just drag and drop in regedit, but i don't think it's quite ths same.
