Refurbished system

I ordered a refurbished desktop to run as a file server while I'm away from home. I'll be heading back home for three days to set it up and test it out, and I was wondering if tehre's anything I can do to push it to its limits/make sure its stable? If there are any issues during that weekend I can still return it, but if any issus happen later I can't return it anymore and I'll have ot wait to get back home to repair it.

Any feedback is appreciated!
