That was about what i was gonna say.

for $35.00 more you can get a new monitor with a 3 year warranty.

I would not take the chance on a Refurb to save $35.00.

Not to mention SOYO is one company I wish the economy would bankrupt, seems like there shoddy products and bad service and rebate fiasco's can't get you people to stop buying there crap.

This is like buying your LCD from the DEVIL "SOYO" Bastards took a year and a dozen phone calls to get me my motherboard rebates, then the motherboards died in like a year.

Lol! I own 2 24" Soyo Topaz monitors and they are gorgeous. I had to replace one of them as it developed a flickering line across the screen in about 2 weeks after the purchase.

I remember SOYO rebates.. I got my $50 motherboard and $50 router rebates a week after I complained to BBB. The motherboard still works and the router had been working fine for 3 years (now DHCP server in it acts kind of funky).
