I've only recently found out about Apple's refurbished iPod service. The iPod video 30gb goes for $180, while the 60gb one goes for $230. since my 4th gen iPod just crapped out, I'm thinking of buying the 30gb one. From what I've read one other forums, they are indistinguishable (sp?) from new ones (they even come with the sticker), and come with 1 year warranties. What are your thoughts?

Note: iPod haters need not reply to this thread. I'm looking for mainly an audio player. The Creative Zen Vision M is nice, but too expensive and bulky for my needs. Thanks! :)

Bought a refurb. 30GB for $220CAN

Other than coming in a diffferent box (just cardboard, no fancy pictures) the unit was pristine, had the same protective plastic on it as well as the acessories apple includes these days... Same warranty, so I thought why not? So far, everythings been great. No problems.

Thanks for the reply, another user also PM'ed me about his experiences, and they were very positive. Looks like I am going down this road! :)
