These always go out of stock quick, but here ya go:

Be aware that newegg/chiefvalue refurbished video cards don't work properly about 50% of the time and you'll have a very low chance of having it unlock since it's already been used by someone else and returned. I've had good success with getting RMA service from the manufacturers on newegg/chiefvalue refurbs, but your mileage may vary.

Edit: it took all day, but finally it's out of stock 🙂

That's not bad at all 🙂 My 6800nu will unlock and overclock, but gets artifacts from the unlocked pipes. The acutal one I got from newegg (before I RMA'd it), displayed funky pink lines/boxes randomly.

Looks like the 6800nu is still in stock.

Over the years I've bought quite a few refurb'd 'egg cards, far more than 50% of them worked fine. Not a bad deal but I'd be wondering if it won't be long till you can get something like this new for $130 AR. then again, value is all about timing, wait too long and it really is worth only $130.

I like to give people an extra warning, so if I say 50% , then they won't be suprised in the rare case that they do get a bad card.

I hate seeing these 6800nu prices drop so much though. I'm still trying to sell mine for $145 🙂

These refurb deals are so freakin' tempting, i've been needing a card for my HTPC but I think I may wait until the 6800nu or le gets below the $100 mark.

This doesn't seem to hot me, since its a refurb. I picked up a new 6800nu agp from monarch for $143 AR about 3 weeks ago. I bet around holiday time we'll see more and better deals like that. Warm I guess since there's no rebate.

CPUs and video cards...usually a good idea to stay away from the refurbs unless you're really not interested in overclocking. Its a safe bet the pipes won't unlock since thats probably why a lot of people RMA'd them.

Just my opinion.

True, I bought over a half-dozen mobile bartons from the 'egg and few would do over 2.3GHz without crazy voltage. Then again, they were about $45 per. To save 40% I was happy to sacrific a couple hundred MHz.

I guess I'm saying it's really not a big issue, if the part doesn't work you just pay the $6 to ship it back if you can't finagle free shipping. THAT would be if the price were a little lower though, @ 135 it could be a large sacrifice to get a working but dud-overclocker.

How the heck do you "refurbish" a graphics card? Blow the dust off it and clean the contacts?

It will be great if it will unlock and overclock like EVGA brand . Oh sorry it is refurbished which is not good. Than it is really expensive.
