Refurb Notebooks

I see refurbrished IBM T-21 Laptops 14.1" screen 20 GB P-III 800 for US 699.00, with 3 months warranty, can anybody give any inputs on these used laptops, I am in India
 
If they are coming directly from the manufacturer and you can get a longer warranty then I would recommend it.

I purchased my Dell Inspiron 2500 refurbished directly from Dell and got the 3 year warranty. I have had it for about 3 years now and I have not encountered any difficulties with it.

If the system is not from the manufacturer and/or you cannot upgrade the warranty then go somewhere else. Always keep in mind that with notebooks you get wha you pay for.
