They are refurbs but considering they have over 400 of them I dunno. They're probably just skimping on the warranty.

Maybe I shouldn't give FATWALLET any credit at all seeing as that's where I found the deal...
and maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the MP3 player even though it's on the same site and is relevant because it needs a CF reader/writer...
or maybe I shouldn't have changed my original post but instead reminded you two guys about the guidelines regarding thread crapping.
