I just checked the order status (just out of curiosity), and guess what ... THE ORDER STATUS HAS CHANGED TO "SHIPPED" WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF PLACING THE ORDER ... and I got the FedEx tracking number also

If this is true, I must say that I am already VERY impressed !!!

Our late night crew is just finishing packing another order, and we printed up FedEx Labels for Pick-up tomorrow right up through the latest orders.

(I think these late nights and hauling these 61 pound monitors is gonna kill me)

there are a few more grade "A" monitors back in stock, but I am sure they won't last long.

woot! this is the first time I've ever caught a 'back in stock event' before Anandtech effect kicked back in!!

4 left!

Headed to the everquest convention in Las Vegas today, cant wait to get back and experience life on a 21! I suppose it's the difference between a medium pizza and LARGE!!

3 left now!

Hmmm. well just to add another data point, I got my grade B from the computer cables & cases company or whatever they were called and it's pretty nice too! Physically I had to look very closely to see that the top had a hint of discoloration (a lot less than my 19" it's replacing!) and some very subtle "stripes" on the top that I suspect might be related to heat coming through some of the EMC shielding or something. Operationally, the colors are fantastic!

I'm not completely sure about the fact that it looked like it had some squiggles on-screen when drawing a constant color background (the kind of stuff that degaussing seemed like it oughta fix!), but I haven't noticed it while using the monitor. It also seems like the whites flicker or something, even with the refresh rate up at 85 Hz. I'm convinced I really am at 85Hz, but keep worrying a little that the on screen display always shows 60Hz. Odd.

I'm sure, though, that we'll have a long happy life together! lol

According to the counter I just got the last of the current crop of class 'A' crt's. Thanks for the deal, I could not resist it after all this time.

I ordered one... there goes all my food budget for this month. Oh well... I just hope my eyes are happy when my stomach aren't.

Anyone else have any reviews on these monitors?

I got my monitor today.$171 shipped with two KVM cables I needed thrown in to the order(the cables would have been $22 shipped from most competitive websites). It's gorgeous and seems in perfect working order. The KVM cables are good too. The packing job was frightening though. It had almost broken through the bottom of the box, and was protceted by bubble wrap applied by some guy crazy for packing tape and a cubic yard of foam peanuts. Yet somehow it arrived without a scratch. I feel very happy with my purchase and lucky to get it.

Got mine today, it was a grade B but I must say this thing is awesome. Thanks guys.

<EDIT>
Default action is thumbs down

If you are even close to being on the fence on this deal I would go for it. I absolutly love mine. Not a scratch on it and it works flawlessly.

Awesome deal.

I got my 21" Dell Trinitron (OEM from Sony) Grade "A" for about $340 shipped. It's nice and flat ... I think they lowered the price some more again so if you're interested in an alternative, let me know.

Got my monitor today... finally after shipped last thursday 🙁

I plugged it in. after the loud deguass sound hit.... there is no picture at all 🙁
Regradless of what I did, I can't get a picture. No light at all. 🙁

I will keep you guys updated.

But it looks like a dead on arival. 🙁

Update: I tried a different monitor cable. No luck. I also plugged it into another computer. No luck. Even without a signal there should be something on the screen saying no signal. It is dead 🙁

The whole top section of the monitor is discolored with a ugly yellowish color. I heard from people that usually this would be a grade B. But I did place an order for grade A. 🙁

I called Jim from the company, and he is sending me a replacement tomorrow (wed) which means I won't get the monitor until monday. *sigh* two weeks of waiting for a working monitor. However, the customer service is excellent! 🙂

ordered the "A" last week and it arrived today in excellent condition, not one single scratch on the monitor, basically new. this one was made in june/july of 99

Hmmm, still no word about sending an replacement monitor. Weird.

<FONT face=Verdana size=1>HomerJaySimpson.... Can you give me some kind of update?
