Good price on the woofer. I've actually always had good luck on refurbs. Need one soon but not right now.

I bought a refurb 15" acoustic research subwoofer about a year ago and have been very pleased with it. No problems at all.

I have a ~100W AR Sub and have nothing but good things to say about it. It booms and makes the pictures shake on the wall

It said the same thing last night when I ordered it. I got shipment confirmation e-mail already.

I do not know if anybody noticed but everything at Overstock says limited inventory high risk. I think they want you to feel like it might sell out so you buy it without thinking. I mean come on is there anybody in this world that has an infinite inventory of anything?

Not everything is high risk. And not everything says limited inventory.

Really? I went through and randomly clicked on things and they all said the same thing. Even the pre-orders are limited inventory.

I figured it out, a lot of their DVDs seem to be "Limited Inventory".

Just recieved my subwoofer.

It's beautiful.

It's designed to run on 208vac and has what appears to be a European plug on it.

No adjustment for 110vac. No use for it in USA.

Nope. Same deal happend to me. I gave them a call and they sent me pre paid postage and I get credited the amount back. Hopefully maybe a coupon for my troubles
