I have this board and it is rock stable, uses the same Raid as the abit (high-point) and has a 5.1 C-Media sound card that sounds great. An djust in case you need a TON of ram it has 4 Dimm slots.
It also offers a ton of overclock features in the BIOS. I am happy running my athlon XP 1700 at default but some like these options.

Newegg had some of these in stock a couple of weeks ago and I snagged one. The only problem that it had was a somewhat broken retention clip for the agp slot. Otherwise, it came with 2 disk cables, 1 floppy, and the subwoofer connector to the mb. I put a 1ghz duron in it as well, slapped a vantec 6035d on there, and it's running at 1.2 ghz no problems w/ 256 corsair ddr ram. Ram prices are even cheaper now, so a good time to get a ddr board. I've been very pleased with the stability and bios options. Don't use the raid setup right now, but nice to have for the future when I can buy 40gb drives for a few pennies or something ;-).

Also, the c-media sound is great, just be sure that if you're having problems with hanging on using sound that you update to the latest bios (they fix some sound issues, latest update is 4/3/02) and the latest drivers from c-media at cmedia. Great board in my opinion, and great prices. Most people sell these for $90 used on fs/t (and get it!).

You can get this Borad NEW for $88 at newegg. I paid $115 when I got it, and its worth all the $115 I paid, and a bargain at $88.

Great board.

You cannot get this board brand new for $88 at newegg. You can get it for $96 after shipping... that's a $36 difference from the refurbished one (with free shipping). Reason enough for me to purchase it.

Good deal. My fisrt system had a Shuttle board. Terrible manual, but a decent rock solid board. This is a good deal especialy with Raid and the 5.1 sound. Thanks.

Most of Newegg's refurbed products they resale are board that people have returned because they either didn't know what the hell they were doing or thye just didn't want it no longer... I know plenty of people who have bought refurbs from newegg and couldn't tell that anythign had actually been repaired on the board.

I got one about 2 months ago and it's SOLID... from newegg Refurb of course. ONly problem is that there's some Floppy corruption so I can't use a floppy disk. More reason for me to throw it away :)
