hello, what should my nvidia refresh fix rate be if my monitor resolution is set at 1152 by 864 pixels and my game resolution is set at 800*600 for quake and 1024*764 for cs? i need to know because my moniter is starting to hurt my eyes.. thx in advance.
 
75 is the bare minimum. Anything lower and you'll get headaches and stuff from the strain on your eyes. Personally I runn all resolutions at 85 and 1600x1200 at 75 because my monitor can't go higher. Keep in mind that a very high refresh rate is bad for the monitor. I would recommened anything below 100 and above 75.
 
The recommendation is a minimum of 75Hz. I generally used 85Hz. I can see the screen refreshing at 60Hz and it gives me a headache within 5 minutes.
