I have been using the NV Refresh tool and it does not seem to work with the new set of drivers. Where can I find an updated version or even a new program that will fix it with 42.01 series of det drivers?

They have a little built-in utility that fixes it with direct 3d games, but not open GL games.

i'm using nvrefreshtool 2.1 with the 42.01 and it works fine, don't know if you're using an older version.

there is a file floating around that cleans out alkl residue from prior driver installs, refresh fixe etc.

he following is a link to a review of the 42.01 drivers. I've been using them on 3 machines with no problems for about 2 weeks.

The following is a link to the fix for getting rid of residue from old nvidia drivers. This goes beyond the regular refresh rate fix and seems to hjelp.

Of course use at your own risk:D

40.72 has a built in override, however I use RivaTuner to do it, and more!

nvrefreshtool 2.1 seems to have fixed the issue although it still locks my refresh rate at an absolute value. I would like to run my refresh rate higher when I am at my desktop but I Cannot for some reason, oh well.

nvrefreshtool works well for me, you just have to push the advanced mode button to change the refresh rates manually.
