I formatted one of three partitions using the xp cd and reloaded windows. My folders are still on E. The programs were originally loaded on a 32bit processor and are now on a 64bit processor and motherboard. They were working after a repair, but stuff was happening one day and I did another repair which choked off my usb ports. I decided to reformat. Now, as I load software, I almost always get an error with variations telling me that a piece didn't load. I go to the software and open it. It seems fine. Does this have to do with the MBR?
