Boot off of the windows CD, when it loads up select the option to install windows. Then tell it to delete your current partition, and after that select make new partition, and select NTFS. Then just finish the install process.

Partition your drives however you want. Install Windows on whichever partition you want. Changing the boot order in the BIOS will only make a difference if you have multiple OSes installed. Set whichever drive for slave and master that you want; as long as they are set properly, they will work.

Search around and you should be able to find plenty of information on this sort of thing.

I assume you're re-installing with Windows XP? If not, drivers may be an issue. I personally try to download all Service Packs, drivers, etc. before formatting.

remember to have your internet/ chipset drivers somewhere so you dont need to go online to get 'em in case it doesnt automatically install your eithernet port. also you dont need to delete everything, just the stuff on the windows partition.
