I had this problem too, go to http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and download Windows 98 SE OEM and create a boot disk by double clicking the download. Then restart your computer with the boot disk inside, you will get to a screen that shows A:/, type fdisk, then on the next screen delete ALL partitions, and then create one and use the maximum space possible. Then restart without the disk inside, and click Delete while it is booting up so you can go into BIOS and make the CD-rom the first boot device, save and exit.

Now here is the problem I had here, one CD-drive could not be booted up at that screen..I had to connect to the CD-drive in another compiter to install Windows XP Pro, maybe you should try different CD-drives.

Thats all you need 🙂.

If you don't have the full version of Windows XP you'll either need to install a previous operating system (like Windows ME or 98) or use Windows XP boot disks. Or you might just have to put in an earlier OS CD.
