Reformatting advice (file systems)

Since I've been having trouble imaging my harddrive with NTFS, I've decided to reformatting FAT32. What size cluster size should I choose. I dont know anything about that. Default is 16. I partitioned my 80gig harddrive to 30gig and 50gig. 30 being the OS harddrive. Should I make the 50 an NTFS file system also or just FAT32 for both or vice versa? Which cluster sizes should i choose for both also?
