Reformatting a Floppy

Okay, this is gonna be the dumbest question any of you will ever see on this forum, but how do you reformat a 3.5 floppy? I know I learned it in kindergarden or 1st grade, but I can't quite remember how. Thanks in advance....
 
My omputer -> right click floppy disk ->
check quick format if its already been formatted, or
check full? if it is a new disk
