Reformating w/ XP

Hey Guys -

I was going through the process of reinstalling a clean copy of xp pro...

I got to the screen where I can delete and create a new partition, but when I hit D to delete the existing one (because I want a very clean install) it told me that it could not be deleted because that partition had necessary temporary setup files...

Is there anyway around this because I would really like to install a fresh fresh XP before I go away to school...?

Fixed the prob -

was running install from windows instead of from the CD
