Reformat if I add another card to go SLI?

Hi all,
My bro has one 7800gt card in his system right now. I'd like to know if i can just install another 7800gt card and configure them in SLI mode, will I have to reinstall windows? Or am I better off to go with x1900xtx? Thanks for all the help

Nope. Just Enable the SLI checkbox and go from there. You shouldn't have to do any sort of reformat.

Personally I would reinstall the video drivers -- just in case.
