I am trying to reflash my bios...I have an older albatron kx400-8x (via kt400) and according to their website, I have to put 2 files on a floppy, one is a .BIN and the other a .exe and boot from this disk, and type in awdflash filename.bin on the command line....I have tried and tried and all I get is "general failure reading from drive A. Abort, Retry, Fail, Ignore....does anyone know what I should do?

Make a separate bootdisk at bootdisk.com. Also, unzip all bios files before transferring them to a fresh formated floppy.

if you got to the A: prompt and was able to type DIR then your are booted from your floppy.

If you can type Dir then you can type awdflash .

the albatron website told me to type awdflash 408x105b.bin but whenever i try to type anything valid, i get the general failure, cannot read from floppy disk...I made the disk in the format options, it will read the disk, but I cant do anything with it....i'm stumped
