Hey, Im 16 and applying at a local sub place. They are asking for 3 references and I was wondering if I could put down anyone here? If they call you, which I really doubt, You can just bullshit em.

You really don't have 3 local friends, teaches, ministers, neighbors, transients that know you? You've basically asked complete strangers to lie for you. I'd be happy to take the call, I'll tell them you asked complete strangers to vouce for you and have no ethics.

Hmm, how many sub places could there be in Fargo? $10 to the user who finds the one Drew Rithmiller applied to so we can all call there.

Teachers dont know who I am.
I dont have many friends over 18.
Neighbors? This isn't the 50's.
Dont go to church.
Transients? No clue what that is.....

LOL...i don't know how they expect an 16 to put 3 references that are 18 or older, that doesn't include parents, family, etc. I don't think I knew that many 18+ people when i was growing up, that i wasn't related to. Especially for a job in a damn sub shop. LOL

Hehe touche.. I have a real hard time believing you went though 10 yrs of school w/o a one teacher knowing you. Made no freinds a long the way. No coaches. No no one who can vouch for ya. Plus you're just asking for trouble here. There's some real devious ( in a good way) fuskers lurking these forums who will screw you good on this.

it's definetly not a good idea asking random people, the thought of "hm...this could be interesting if they called me and i told them the truth...." did cross my mind...but i wouldn't do that to a fellow AT!!! :heart:
