References to Hell edited out of Doom movie

I think the common consesus is the new movie will be some sh!tty piece of crap with the 'Doom' name on it..
I didn't too much care for Doom 3.. But I would love a movie that didn't hold back, totally evil, ultra-violence, demons, etc. I don't think their logic for editing out Hell is very well-placed. Most Christians aren't gonna avoid the movie just because hell is involved just like most won't avoid it even though it has an R rating. The ones that would avoid it because of Hell would also avoid it even after the changes.
All the 'writers' have done is a Hollywood-hack and the movie is not going to hold true to the game and people will get pissed. They might be able to please a few politically-correct critics, though.. But, as this season in movies have shown, the critics are wrong as often as right. Sorry, but if a critic says a movie was horrible and it makes millions upon millions week after week, the movie is just not horrible.

Meh, just rename "Event Horizon" to "Doom", change it from an abandoned spaceship to a mine on Phobos, and then make the hellspawn uglier and more evil. That would be the perfect "Doom" movie, limited action ('restrained') but tension you can cut with a knife and epic suspense.
Hollywood has been raping popular culture and classics in various genres for years. So few people bitched about hardwir- er "I, Robot" that I thought everyone was doped up.
So they rip off a sh!tty game movie when they had a perfectly good story from the doom games already? Yay, another game movie i wanted made, only to know i'm never going to see it. They should just release it as a Sci Fi channel original, nobody is going to see it anyway.
They should stop making game movies (except Resident Evil), game comic books (all, even DMC), etc. WE DON'T CARE.

Doom the movie is expected to hit the screen in August and is being directed by Cradle 2 the Grave director Andrzej Bartkowiak. Contrary to earlier reports by id Software, the film is indeed being developed by Universal Pictures and will costar Die Another Day's Rosamund Pike in a less villainous role.

LOVED the game. Hate what I've heard about the movie so far. So it's going to be a movie about virus infected zombies. Too late bro! I already saw that one. It was called Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead. More recently it was 28 Days Later, etc...
