I live in Miami, and TigerDirect's "corporate office" is two miles away from here. They have a small retail building where they sell junk... I mean, fried mobos, "as-is" modems, controller cards, processors with bent/missing pins, etc. etc.
There is a Gateway Country store right next door. I was in there one day, listening in on a customer who'd purchased a Gateway refurbished PC from TigerDirect (B&M) with a defective hard drive. TigerDirect didn't want anything to to with the system, so the guy comes over to Gateway, who says the system is warranteed under TigerDirect and they send him back over there... what a mess.
Maybe their mail-order sells the stuff which tests good, and what I'm seeing is the stuff they don't want to chance selling mail-order, for fear of massive returns.
That said, I ordered a PIII-900 FCPGA chip and slotket from them quite a while ago mail-order (they were about 30% cheaper than anywhere else!) and had zero problems. That was my only mail-order purchase from TigerDirect, and it went well.
If everything is fine with your TFT monitor and GeForce card, you're golden. If you have to return anything under warranty, you may or may not have problems.
