LOL

It's actually pretty good for you. Pancakes, peanut butter, and syrup aren't too bad for you, and there's aren't really enough chocolate chips to be "bad" like a candy bar or something. I personally like Mrs. Butterworth's btw, then you don't have to add butter to the pancake ;)

Well, syrup is...but in moderation, I should be fine. Will give it a go. Thanks :)

Well, pure maple syrup isn't horrible for you, but it's expensive and hard to get in some areas. Vermont is half a day's drive and there are small farms EVERYWHERE that sell that stuff :D Report back in when you've tried it!

Probably the sweetness...you could try semi-sweet...or dark even :)

We make Chocolate Chip pancakes every Saturday.

I prefer to eat them by putting Brown Sugar on the pancake at one end and then rolling it up. Even better to also add bacon or sausage on the brown sugar and then rolling the whole thing up. Yum.

Don't know if I could get myself to try Peanut Butter though. hmmm.

Oh and banana pancakes > *

When I was on vacation in Hawaii, we went to a pancake house that served banana pancakes with macadamia nut sauce. Just incredible. Oh man.....

I would be interested to hear what you eat when you're not on this health kick.

Peanut butter on pancakes is awesome, I've been doing it since I ate them. Pancakes with chocolate chips or blueberries in them make it even better. Don't forget to add syrup too.

Put a couple of fried eggs on top, break the yolks an let the yellow juice flow down.

Too much PB maybe? Or too many chocolate chips? You only need a thin to medium coat of peanut butter and a scattering of chocolate chips.

I used to put peanut butter on waffles when I was young. The peanut butter would melt and mmmm, it was good.

Why don't you just use chocolate chips and peanut butter chips? (They make 'em you know.)
