I prefer Reese's Peanut Butter Cups myself. And meh to freezing them. As long as they aren't melty, they are good enough for me.

I hate frozen chocolate, completely diminishes the flavour. I'm actually not the hugest chocolate guy to begin with, but I love peanut butter cups and they need to be at room temperature for maximum awesome.

I don't mind them from the fridge so that they're not all melty, but frozen ruins them. The same goes for frozen Snickers and frozen any other candy bar.

Fair enough, I can see where the chocolate may lose flavor if you eat it too fast. But if you let it melt in your mouth a little bit...

With Reese's they don't get frozen solid. Only the chocolate gets "frozen" but the peanut butter is still smooth. I just prefer it this way and I can't really remember when it started or where I got it from.

Frozen snickers doesn't work IMO because the caramel gets really tough (or frozen if cold enough). It's not the same.

I remember name-brand ice cream, probably Ben and Jerry's, where the whole PB cups were frozen inside. It was annoying as hell to try to eat.
