I accidentally disabled ACPI and APM support in bios and then booted W2K. I reenabled both settings, but Suspend and Hibernate tabs in APM config are still missing. Any idea?

To correct the problem go to control panel, click computer then make sure you have acpi as your computer type. if you dont have that, that is the cause of your broblems. To correct the problem click computer type then upgrade drivers. At that point tell the computer you want to choose from the list of drivers then pick ACPI. this should correct your problem. if thats the case what happend was when you turned of acpi in your bios windows 2000 uninstalled the ACPI drivers and installed the standard computer drives. when you then turn on ACPI support on your bios windows 2000 did not reinstalled the ACPI drivers on your comp. i hope this helps you out. let me know how it goes.

No, I have ACPI compilant PC in System config table. I wonder that W2K disabled that settings "forever" (until next fresh reinstall) after disabling ACPI in BIOS. It happened me once when my computer crashed when resuming from Suspend mode and then W2K disabled Suspend tab in APM config dialog. Forever :-((
I searched for some tweak utility, that should restore Hibernate and Suspend dialogs, but I couldn't find anything.

Stupid W2K, but they are sooooo stable :))
