Reeeeeeally weird problem

Hopefully it's not so weird for u guys:
However I change the brightness and/or contrast in catalyst control panel,
everything on my screen except the cursor changes accordingly.
My cursor just stays at default brightness and contrast.
I'll try to give a pic soon...
Any ideas?
I have: x800 xt with Catalyst 5.09

Fix: Change the brightness/contrast with your monitor, not software. That's the best way to do it.

My monitor is Apple cinema, which only let u change brightness.....And the lowest brightness on this monitor is still too bright for me.
That's why i have to resort to catalyst. I never used software to change brightness and/or contrast before.
