i'm wondering how he could afford 8500 bottle rockets. and a metal gate. did he take it from the kids' baseball diamond?

Bottle rockets are about $5.00 for a 144 pack. With rednecks, priority goes something like this:

1) Beer and Cigarettes.
2) Cable TV.
3) Stupid crap.
4) Worthwhile investments.


The materials he used were probably all things he stole or found alongside the road on trash day. No joke. To be fair, it's probably what I would do if I were looking for similar things.
 
That guy put way to much thought into that. All you need is a cinder block and a blow torch. Fill both sides with rockets (use a short block so they stick out of the it), light the torch and light'em up. Dont need to light them all just a good portion and run. The ones you didnt light will get lit from the ones taking off.
 
He should have used whistling bottle rockets....

The 3.5 million firecrackers were definitely better, though.
