There is no possible reason for those things except lulz. Lulz were created and shared on the Internet. Went about as right as it possibly could have.
 
rofl. what did they tie the strap to? it had to have been forward of the bed to buckle the frame like that, it would seem, but then i dont know how they ripped the axle out.
 
oh i see what happened. it was hooked to some kind of hitch that, when the other truck started wheelhopping and then really dug in, pulled the bed down over the axle, wedging it in place as the truck then got destroyed.

awesome. you could not have planned this better, hillbillies.
